Reaction: Sounds like you are irritated to the soap. Good you do not have a rash and not having breathing problems. Try taking a shower, but no soap. Also you may find oatmeal bath or Aveeno bath helpful

Hi, my 22 month old son has a rash-like skin reaction on his back, torso and abdominal area. I first noted it yesterday on his back, since spread posteriorly. No changes in soaps, no new food or medication given. He is allergic to pollen, dust, etc.
Itchy all over! no rashes or bites, no new soaps or products. Skin looks normal, no flaking or dryness. Not helped by benadryl (diphenhydramine). What can I do?

What would cause a skin rash? It does not itch, but is spreading. I don't recall using any new soaps, lotions, detergents, medicines, etc.
