Chest cold: Your upper respiratory infection has spread to your breathing passages and now you have acute bronchitis. There may be a component of asthma as well, even if you've never had asthma before. If you're uncomfortably short of breath, you should go immediately to an ER for prompt treatment. If it's just a nuisance symptom, you ought to at least see your doctor tomorrow to be examined.
