Probably normal: The number one side effect of Depo-provera is irregular and unpredictable bleeding. Over 75% of women using the shot will have spotting or bleeding, sometimes for a few days but sometimes almost continuously for months. Your bleeding is probably due to the shot and is normal. It is treatable so if it is a problem you should talk to your doctor.
