Wait for better data: Wait for more convincing data.There are some studies that show a decrease in number and size of polyps with an NSAID called sulindac, but no decrease in the risk for colon cancer, so no point, really. Also, most NSAIDS are associated with higher risk for heart attack. Studies with aspirin have conflicting results, balancing benefits with risk for bleeding from stomach or intracranial hemorrhage.
