I have a pain in my lower tummy where ovaries are. went to the doctor, she didn't find anything obvious. can it be a cyst? how dangerous are they?

Abdominal pain: Many things can cause abdominal pain/discomfort. Ovarian cysts are definitely a possibility and may sometimes fluctuate with your menstrual cycle. They are easily diagnosed with an ultrasound and are not dangerous.

Lower abdominal pain: If the pain persist go back to doctor or a specialist, it can be simple as constipation to more complicated ...some simple blood test ,exam or ultrasound may be needed
