Probably not: A 17mm cyst on the ovary, depending on age and the cycle day of the menstrual cycle, is of normal size for a developing ovary follicle (egg). If the cyst has been bleeding or has partially ruptured and drained, then associated pain may be present. Not sure what the banana shaped lump on the abdomen represents.
