@ 3 mos it should: B quieting down. red, warm &amp; swollen would worry me. is there pain also? get in to see your surgeon, a low grade smoldering infection is possible. loosening is a possibility, but pretty early for that. I would want to r/o infection first. that means aspiration &amp; culturing the aspirate.
