Brainstem effect: The mechanism of concussion results from a deformation of the brain stem at the level of the migraine driver and the vomiting center. If the nausea comes with headache you are having post concussive migraine. Speak to your doctor about migraine preventative such as amitriptyline, Inderal (propranolol) or Topiramate.
