It may be: A routine pelvic exam will most often, NOT be able to detect a cyst. If you still have pain and discomfort, be sure to follow-up with your Dr. and maybe a pelvic US would need to be ordered to further determine your likely diagnosis. Best wishes.

no significant free fluid in pelvis" on u/s. Impressions says normal u/s. Couldn't have been ruptured cyst because i was nursing and didn't have period until 7 months after u/s. Dr said normal?
