Many possible causes: pain in the right upper abdomen and right back can have many possible causes. Some of them include gallbladder disease, stomach or duodenum ulcer disease, pancreatic illnesses, and illnesses of the right side of the colon or the small intestine. Given that there are so many possibilities, and because your symptoms seem to be fairly severe, I would see your doctor ASAP. Good luck.
