A member asked:

Constant calf and behind knee pain for over 2 weeks, can i have a clot below knee? ultrasound done from popliteal to groin and it was negative.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Repeat evaluation.: A Bakers cyst which is an enclosed collection of fluid contiguous to the meniscus can rupture because the fluid can rupture the joint capsule and has a different level of acidity a burning sensation can occur in the calf muscle.DVT is still possible.A d-dimer blood test can asess the risk or tendency of coagubility. An ultrasound could detect the cyst. The most serious possibility is still the DVT.
