Possible: but not probable with negative d-dimer and venous doppler- you may need an MRI to evaluate the area.

Unlikley: Negative US ruled out DVT. Likely a sprain/strain. Apply warm compresses, massage and take some form of Ibuprofen if you have no contraindications to this drug.
