Usually 4 8: oz bottles a day or a total of 32 oz a day as a guideline. This can vary but leaves room to add solids to the diet. All the best.

1 year = time to: : 1) wean from bottle to 2 cups of whole milk with meals. Up to 5 oz. more of milk products is ok. Start a weighted, double-handled cup at 10 mos. & he'll hold it himself by 12 mos. 2) Brush his teeth 2x/day & before bed & have the 1st pediatric dentist visit. 3) Avoid ad-lib use of a Sippy cup with milk, juice or other sugars.4) Give water between meals. 5) Limit juice to 0-4 oz./day from a cup
