A member asked:

My daughter just turned one year old should i stop the formula and shift to regular whole milk? and how much milk should she be drinking per day(ml)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Milk: It is recommended to switch to whole milk at one year. The recommended amount is 2 cups a day (to provide adequate vitamin d) but not much more. When kids are "milkaholics" they actually can become iron deficient. I'd shoot for 2 cups (16oz) per day and stop there. (in a cup - get rid of the bottles too.).
