Get it seen by a doc: The problem in this scenario, is that without seeing what is going on with your waist, the process can be either a bite reaction (did you see the mosquito?), or more seriously, bacterial infection causing cellulitis (you just felt a sharp sting without seeing a mosquito) . If it's due to the latter, antibiotics are needed.
