A member asked:

Is male pattern baldness 100% hereditary?could a guy who eats greasy sugary fast food daily grow old with a full set of hair depending on genes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe. Maybe not.: A "full set" of hair at age 90 is not the same amount of hair as a "full set" of hair at age 19. Such a guy could be normal at both age 19 and 90, and have a "full set" of hair at age 19 and at 90, but will have a lot fewer hairs in his "full set" at age 90. Reality is reality. Don't worry about the hair. It's just hair.
