Understanding only clear liquids can be had prior to a colonoscopy, does beer count? specifically a bud light?

Beer is clear: Prior to colonoscopy it is best to keep the bowel relatively empty not to interfere with visualization of colon mucosa and any potential growths. Clear liquid for the most part is liquid without residue, that is virtually transparent to light. Obviously milk does not fit into profile, nor fruit juices for the most part. Beer is transparent and doesn't cause problems with residue.
