Have it looked at: The tissue on your palate may be very thin and susceptible to irritants you describe have a dentist look at it steroidal ointment may help but a doctor needs to evaluate it

Palatal rash: Have you ever had this examined? This needs to be examined clinically/visually. Any lesion in the mouth that does not heal within 7-10 days, and any lesion that recurs needs to be examined by a dentist or an oral surgeon, and possibly biopsied.
