Itchy Hands: In general it is not good advice to keep/use an old prescription medicine for a new problem. The most important thing is to first determine why your hands are itchy and then to determine the best, safest course of action for treatment. Oral steroids, while generally very safe in short bursts, are quite powerful medicines and may not be appropriate for you or for your current condition.
