As usual not obvious: I'm a little concerned about night sweats. The surgeon would be very concerned if associated with objective fever, and we know (rarely) hives can be associated with bacterial infection. Did you receive preventative antibiotics with surgery? Surgery per say wouldn't cause hives. Sounds like you are please with outcome, so stress hives seem unlikely.

Every 2ish yrs for the last 10, I have an allergic reaction to something, but the cause is never determined nor clear. Angioedema ruled out last time. Could this be something other than an allergy? Symptoms: tight throat, extreme hives, itchy tongue.
