Depends on cause: Most angioedema should subside by 30 hrs . If you have had recurrent bouts of angiioedema lasting for more than 2-3 days, then you need to get evaluated for hereditary angioedema. Do note that the cause may not be established despite extensive studies. If this was the fist episode , then it may or may not recur. See an allergist if the problem persists or worsens.
