A member asked:

Why is epinephrine not used in some areas (e.g. fingers, toes or nose)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood flow: Epinephrine causes small blood vessels to constrict which can stop blood flow in small vessels. There are only small vessels in fingers, toes, nose... there is a small risk you could end up with gangrene (tissue death) from lack of blood supply to these areas if you inject them with epi.
