Where do I start?: There are many health risks to consider in the elderly. Let's start w/polypharmacy - way too many drugs to care for myriad illnesses that we collect along the way. Heart disease, stroke & cancer rank high up there. Emphysema, too along w/osteoporosis, malnutrition, loss of senses eg poor vision/hearing. Debility or inability to care for self. Let's not forget Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
