A member asked:

How likely is it that my vagina will tear when i give birth in 8 weeks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probable: A first time delivery often results in small tears that are easily repaired after delivery. Women having their third or fourth child have a stretchy perineum that allows them to deliver the fetal head without significant tears. Listen to your OB when you are delivering so that its can be a controlled delivery minimizing your likelihood of tears. Best wishes Dr M
