A member asked:

Yay! i'm pregnant! now how do i work out my due date based on the results of my blood test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ultrasound: It is not possible to calculate the due date from pregnancy hormone concentrations. A transvaginal 2 weeks after the anticipated menstrual period will yield a fetal heart beat and the crown lump length (CRL). Providers have tables that tell them into what gestational age a given CRL translates into and what the due date will be.
