I am allergic to aspirin can i take acetaminophen?

Yes...: Individuals that are allergic to aspirin, and medications in the Aspirin related families, can take tylenol without any cross reactivity. The only concern with acetaminophen, or tylenol, is in large daily doses its is hepatotoxic, and cause elevation of liver enzymes, and liver damage. Be cautious with your consumption.

Yes: There is no chemical relationship or cross allergenicity between Aspirin and acetaminophen/tylenol. With an Aspirin allergy you should avoid taking non steroidal antiinflammatory meds like Ibuprofen as these can cause allergic problems in those allergic to aspirin.
