No: If your truly allergic to Ibuprofen then Naproxen is also a bad idea. Aspirin less clear. Make sure you have a true allergy. Some pts will call a side effect an allergy. Some pts with a GI bleed can't take these meds as they can cause bleeding. While its good advice its not a true allergy. A trip to an allergist can clear things up. I would avoid these meds till then.

If true allergy NO: No it is not ok to take any non steroidal including asprin if you have true allergy to ibuprofen true allergy is when you break out with a rash, facial swelling, asthma, shock with vacant fixed gaze and difficulty breathing.People who are allergic to ibuprophen can also have allergy yo Aspirin and other non steroidal meds like naprosyn (naproxen).
