No. The FDA lists 14: conditions for which the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen treatment outweigh its risks of painful & sometimes serious consequences. It is no help whatsoever for brain damage from any cause, ADHD, Autism. The FDA requests that you report any provider who claims that it is. Hyperbaric Brain: There is no evidence that hyperbaric oxygen works on these types of problems. There are specialists that do offer this therapy to patients but you should ask about the research results before committing to this treatment regimen. Medicare does not cover this indication, so the personal cost and professional profit can be large.
