No not intended: Gas out side GI tract in the peritonial is related to a procedure will get absorbed , non procedure related is pathological pneumopertonium ( air inside peritonium due to diseases ) need investigation ; intervention , hyperbaric o2 treatment will not help.

Not needed: What was the cause of the gas trapped outside of gi? It is usually post surgical but i see none in the history so the diagnosis has to be clarified first. I just think there are good indications of hyperbaric o2 but is overused, even now to treat stroke.

This is not an: Indication for the use of hyperbaric oxygen. Hbot can be a powerful tool for treatment of indicated conditions but it's use should not be frivolous. There are very real risks with use of hbot.
