You shouldn't: Necessarily. It's fine to exercise 5 days/week for 30 mins at a time at an intensity level in the light to somewhat hard range. This usually doesn't necessitate being "out of breath". Something like walking briskly qualifies as such. This is well within the American Heart Association's guidelines on exercise!
