Oxycontin: Ocycontin is Oxycodone in a sustained release form used for chronic intractable pain but is also known to be highly addictive and has been abused by people who are prone to drug abuse. It is only in a tablet form which should not be crushed. NO liquid form is available. If you cannot swallow, you should ask your physician to prescribe a liquid pain medicine or a patch if indicated.
