Blood test: Eating ice in women is often associated with iron deficiency anemia. You may see your doctor for a blood test. You could take oral iron supplement available over the counter. If you intend to be pregnant, take pre-natal vitamins. If you do not want to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time.

Feed!: A 2 mo old baby usually eats her weight in food in just 5 days! so yes, they can look like they are always hungry. Regular weight checks will help you to know if she is getting enough.

Protein/fiber/water: Don't skip breakfast & try to get at minimum 12 grams of protein at breakfast and include a good protein source at lunch. Choose snack foods that are hi-fiber &/or hi-protein. Include lots of non-starchy veggies in meals: they are hi-fiber & low-cal so they help fill you up. Drink 16 oz plain water before meals. Get enough sleep: when tired we tend to be hungrier & eat more calories.

A 32-year-old female asked:
How long is spotting normal after IUD insertion?

Varies: This, of course, varies for each patient. It is not uncommon to have spotting for a few days after insertion. It may even last a few weeks. With the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud, because it has a low dose progesterone, it may even cause irregular cycles / spotting ... This is not common, and the vast majority of patients report light periods or no periods.

If i'm not hungry, is that a sign that my metabolism has slowed down?

Not necessarily: If this is unusual for you, you might want to see your physician for a checkup. There are many possible reasons for appetite loss, some more serious than others. It also depends on what other symptoms might be happening concurrently, medicines/drugs you're taking, etc.
