I'm experiencing semi-severe diarrhea. on monday i had a slight fever and a headache. i've also been coughing a little bit, but not too badly. last night i had a lot of gas and then the diarrhea started.

Diarrhea: This is likely to be viral caused, but cannot diagnose this over the internet. With fever and headache it is possible that this is influenza. If this does not resolve in next several days would suggest you see a doctor because there are numerous other possible causes.

"stomach flu": This sounds like a typical viral intestinal infection, although some food-born bacteria can cause similar symptoms. Viruses like Enterovirus 68 can also cause other symptoms, like respiratory symptoms. Drink plenty of fluids--sports drinks are a good choice--and eat only easily digestible foods for now. If you get severe diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain or recurrent fever, get medical care.

Probable virus: Probably you have virus bug affecting GI tract and giving headaches and fever as well. If no improvement in 3 days see your doctor to be sure it is not something else.
