Polymenorrhea: too many periods and a firm abdomen are not great symptoms to have, why don't you see a gynecologist? It would be useful for you to have a pelvic ultrasound performed to look at your uterus and determine if there aren't any abnormalities, like fibroids. With that much bleeding you might even consider a biopsy just to make sure this isn't cancer.
