Call your doc...: You may be having urinary retention, which is a condition where you are unable to pass urine and can be quite painful. It is common after surgery when catheters are removed. If you can't get in touch with the doctor soon, i would advise you to go to a local er. Good luck!

Wait/call doctor: Wait a while as the swelling usually resolves, but if it does not and you can't urinate and become distended, you may need to visit an er or call your doctor to be catheterized to relieve the distended bladder.
