Pain control: Please take Ibuprofen for pain and inflammation. It will help with fever as well. Continue to apply ointment to the affected skin. Keep yourself well hydrated. Monitor your skin for increased redness. If symptoms continue to persist for >2 days seek medical attention.

Tattoo: I suggest you refer to your post procedure instructions. If you did not get post procedure medicines for pain, I suggest you try Tylenol (acetaminophen) if you are not allergic to it. It will lower your temperature and help the pain. Your symptoms sound normal.
