Thyroid function: Hi. The TSH and free T4 test your thyroid function. If your thyroid gland is over active (hyperthyroid) or underachieve (hypothyroid), it will show up in those tests. Abnormal thyroid function is nothing to be afraid of at your age, but it does need to be recognized and treated. Abnormal thyroid function can cause weight changes, fatigue, and heat or cold intolerance. Good luck and don't be scared
