BR-Rads 2: BI-RADS 2 means that your mammogram was normal (ie, no cancer), but other findings (eg, cysts) are described in the report. You should continue your routine screening.

Not cancer: BIRADS category 2 means that they found something on your mammogram but it wasn't cancer. In your case it was a nodule that was stable, meaning it hadn't changed since your last mammogram. They can't call it normal because not every woman has a nodule so they label it a benign abnormality or BIRADS 2. Best wishes!
