Possible scar: If the most superficial layer of skin is involved in the blistering the chances of scaring are low, but the deeper the involvement in the skin the higher the chances of scaring. If the pressure or shearing forces creating the blister are repetitive in the same area, then callus will form thickening the skin and changing its normal appearance.
