Birth control...: Birth control pills can cause abnormal bleeding as a side effect. You might need an alternative one. However, other possibilities are infections, uterine myomas, ovarian cysts,among others. Follow up with your Gynecologist. I would also suggest that to be on the safe side get also a pregnancy test if you are sexually active.
