My grandma is dying from cancer...how do i know when the end is near?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cherish each moment: The truth is that you cannot know, no physician can tell you, and anyone even offering a guess is doing a disservice. Death could come before you receive this from a blood clot to the lung (sudden and painless), or from a chest infection that could take her in 48 hours. Or she could survive until she no longer has the strength to breathe -- this you'll detect. I'm glad you're there for her.
