What could be causing a stuffy nose, a bad sense of smell and a slightly runny nose only in the morning?

Allergies?: It could be allergies, or dry air in your environment. Try to get rid of any potential allergens and keep air somewhat moist in house if it is dry. Use allergenic mattress pad and wash all sheets in high temp and change pillows. Vacuum, dust, any pets?
