Im allergic to asprin and im a migran patiant i took imigran tablets sumatriptan succinate and i felt chest pain and numb shoulders what should i do?

Talk to neurologist: A chest tightness feeling is a possible side effect of all triptans (ie. Imitrex). Generally speaking nothing is actually tightening. It is most commonly seen in the injection. A lower dose of the Imitrex could be used. I also think Axert (almotriptan) is a little weaker, but as a result there tends to be fewer side effects as well. Talk to your prescribing neurologist as there should be some options available.
