Dysphagia: pain or the sensation of something getting stuck in the esophagus after eating is often due to irritation of the esophagus. There can be multiple causes of this, the most common being gastroesophageal reflux disease. I would try over-the-counter ant acids first. Follow the directions with that medication, but if you're no better in 1 to 2 weeks, see your doctor. Good luck.
