Leg numbness: plus thigh numbness obviates a good neurologic assessment. If its just the thigh tingling that narrows things down to L4 lumbar radiculopathy vs lateral femoral cutaneous nerve compression /entrapment and one would likely see a neurologist to further narrow things down and come up with a management plan. One should first ask "where is the lesion" Brain? (TIA /stroke / migraine, etc) Cord? Nerve?
