Eye = see doc: Nexplanon(progestin contraceptive)can cause migraine headaches, which typically occur on 1 side of the head, are throbbing, worse w activity, accompanied by nausea & light/sound sensitivity, lasting>= 4 hours,sometimes preceded by visual or other abnormal sensory symptoms.Eye pain may not be part of what is going on; eyes are very important, so best to get seen ASAP to avoid chance of vision loss.

Migraine?: Eye pain with headache could be a migraine. Any hormonal contraception can cause migraines in some patients. Talk to your doctor about these symptoms.
