A member asked:

On ct scan for mcrc, the same left adrenal nodule is noted on both scans (august and sept one).does not mention size increase . is this a met ?

Hounsfield units: Hi. The radiologist, knowing there's an adrenal nodule, should have measured Hounsfield units on the non-contrasted CT. Hounsfield units are very helpful in predicting benign vs. malignant disease. The two CTs are 1 month apart; that is too soon to tell if the nodule is enlarging. Is MCRC metastatic colorectal CA? Acronyms can be misleading. We need to be sure what you're referring to. Good luck!
