Winter Itch: Very common problem that many people have this time of year due to dry air, and cold weather causing dry skin. Drink plenty of water. Humidify the air in your home. Use plenty of moisturizer for your skin. All of these things should help. Hope this was helpful. Best of luck.

Cold urticaria: This sounds like cold urticaria (hives). This often runs in families. You should try an oral antihistamine such as benadryl, (diphenhydramine) cetirizine or loratadine. If that is not effective you can try adding ranitidine. In any case you need a through evaluation. Please see your doctor for evaluation.
