Yes and no: If your doctor truly thought it was an aortic aneurysm, he or she would have sent you for an emergency CT scan. Your doctor is ruling it out. The CT scan will show us all the rest of your abdominal structures so other disease may ruled in or out. So, I believe your doctor doesn't think it is an aortic aneurysm. If you are concerned, give your doctor a call and ask.
