I have been sick with pneumonia for a month now and am on my third round of antibiotics. i have terrible hip and muscle pain (arms and hips). ideas?

Joint pain: Are you on or currently taking a quinolone antibiotic like cipro (ciprofloxacin) or levaquin . lfof so it my be a side effect of the antibiotic . IT can cause a tenosynovitis and even ruptured tendons. Check with your doctor soon

Sounds like you: Need to work with your doctor(s) to come up with some sort of alternative plan. Three rounds of antibiotics and persistent symptoms suggest that another treatment plan needs to devised.
